EchoStar 18 has been in storage for about a year, waiting for space on a launch vehicle.
It is now scheduled for launch June 7, 2016 from the Ariane Space Center.
It will then be stationed at ~138W for In Orbit Testing for an approximate 60 day test period.
Then it will move to the 110W orbital slot where it will provide backup or replacement spot beam service.
