Has anyone ever received a message thru the messages feature on the hopper other than the welcome message years ago ? Not sure why dish would implement this feature to never use it. It could be used for new channel info, free previews etc. . Thanks in advance.

In a box of Dish satellite items I found a VideoPath Power Inserter and connected power supply. I now have a Hopper 3 and prior to it a VIP722K. I know it wasn't used with the VIP722K. Is this item worth anything to anyone or shall I trash all? I assuming the coax might be worth saving. Thanks.

OTA Adapter
Is the AirTV still the better dual OTA adapter for the Hopper3? If so, can someone please repost the link to the correct one? (I can't find it in the archives this morning.) I'm really tired of "No signal found" so it's time to break down and buy a new adapter.

I was pleasantly surprised this morning that AutoHop for CBS was working from last nites 60 Minutes OTA recording. Our CBS is from the St Louis area that is presently pulled from DISH so I have OTA CBS timers set. Also the St Louis CBS is restricted from using AutoHop until eight days has passed. No video with DishAnywhere and Hopper 3
A couple of months ago, I upgraded from a 722 with a sling adapter to a Hopper 3. With the 722, DishAnywhere worked fine with my phone (LG G6) and with my laptop (using Firefox). A little over a week ago, while on a trip, I tried to use DishAnywhere for the first time since getting the Hopper. I got audio but no video, only a blank screen.

Switched back to Dish
Just switched back to Dish, DirecTV pulled the plug on my local CBS station and I also lost the Smithsonian network, I have all my networks I watch on Dish for $59 vs DirecTV for $95, I will watch Smithsonian on my Fire Stick for $4.99 a month. DirecTV and it's games cost them this longtime sub.

Would a hopper 3 and possibly a 4k Joey work on pay-as-you-go account. I saw an old post on a different forum saying that dish only allow hoppers on regular plans. I was thinking of ordering a hopper and a Joey from dish depot

Cancelled
I cancelled my Dish after about 7 years. The CSR was fine, she gave it a half hearted attempt to get me to sign up for something else but I just told her they were not even close to youtube TV and she relented. There are some things I'll miss, mostly the lag time in switching channels but I've been using youtube tv for 2 months and it's fine. Next I have too see if I can plug in two rokus and do PIP when footballs starts.

Hey all, does Dish provide any other English international channels in the US besides BBCAmerica (worst "British" channel ever)? Are there Canadian or Australian channels? I'm so disappointed that BBCA rarely has any UK shows, so I'm wondering if there are any alternatives? Thanks!

Just wanted to get some input from this wonderful site full of knowledge to decide what I should do or if other are having these same issues. Attached is the latest 40.0 remote control color button menu shortcut list dated 31 July 2019. Found one color button change due to the Hopper 3 software version U539 update. From the TV Viewing Options screen press the red button and you will get an Accessibility shortcut menu. See attached pic.
