Free Previews

According to channel 103 it looks like we get the Encore package and Indieplex as a free preview this month:

It lists channel 340 there, which is actually Encore East and part of the Starz package but the only Encore channel in HD so hopefully we get Encore E in HD. Could be a mistake though or we might only be getting the SD version of Encore E in free preview.

About 11pm eastern last night I went to complete signal loss on my Wally's .It wasn't raining or anything. Today same thing .

Looks like Dish and our two Meredith-owned Phoenix stations (KTVK-3, Ind. & KPHO-5, CBS) are gearing up for a dispute come Monday the 15th. Channel 4 appeared on the guide between them this evening telling us to go to dishpromise.com and The 3/5 website has this Will DISH Network Drop 3TV, CBS 5? to say.

Of course the statements from Dish and Meredith are the standard...

Any way to save the timers?

Upgrading from a 722k to a Hopper 3 tomorrow. Is there any way to save the timers (about 70) to the 722k remote and then transfer to the Hopper 3?

Also, which remote comes with the Hopper 3? Requested a couple of 40.0 remotes since they're similar to the 20.1 that I'm used to but the CSR wouldn't guarantee I'd get them. Thanks

Hi,

I have an Amazon Fire Stick and installed Dish Anywhere to see how it works. I'm setting this up for my aunt who is not all the tech savvy. All the clutter and ad's are a bit annoying on the Amazon Fire Stuff. I like how clean the Roku's are. So, before I purchase a Roku express, is the Dish Anywhere app available for it?

Several years ago I reached out to the Executive Offices or Office of the President - something like that to escalate an issue that the CSR's were unable to help with. How does one do that today? Is there a phone number or email that I should use? Been searching the forum and can't seem to find anything.

Hi,
Not really any pattern or channel, but what's weird, is when you hit the skip back button, and watch it, there is no pixelization. Anybody else seeing that? Just hope it doesn't get worse.

HOPPER SNAP

I'm definitely going to get this Hopper Snap when it becomes available, but:

My HWS has both USB ports occupied. The top port has my OTA tuner and the lower port is for a hub that powers my EHD's. Since I have a spare port on the hub, I tried plugging in the OTA USB tuner into it. It seems the OTA tuner needs to be plugged directly into the HWS because it didn't work going through the hub.
It is a powered USB hub.

There are USB splitters available, but my understanding of them is they...

Now that I can no longer watch the Reds or STO. I am seriously thinking about moving on from Dish.
My question is what do I do with a Hopper full of movies and programs?
How do I view those under a different format?
Can I buy a Hopper on Ebay and then use that to view my content off of my external drive?

I am having Dish installed on Wednesday of this week (hoping that the RSN's come back) due to the fact that I will save $40.00/month on my bill over 2 years. I have had Direct for about 10 years and even though I had discounts I want to save even more for at least 2 years. I realize that both providers have contract issues, but I can tell that At&t is hurting the satellite business.

My question is, will the Dish installer use the same wiring as the Direct install? This install of Direct was...
