1316 MoCA error
I have a Hopper with Sling and 2 wireless Joeys connected. The Hopper is connected wirelessly to an ASUS RT-68u router. The ASUS is connected to my WOW internet ARRIS gateway by ethernet cable. The Dish WAP is connected to the Hopper via ethernet cable. Everything has a good signal strength and when I check in the diagnostics it states that MoCA is not used at all. So why am I getting the 1316 error. I have seen this error intermittently since I have had the hopper (April 2018) but two times...

The OFFICIAL DISH / HBO Thread
One of the reasons I left DirecTV was for Epix, which appears like it will never come to DirecTV, but now Dish doesn't have HBO or Cinemax. I'd like to have all the premium networks out there, but it seems as if I traded the really good HBO and Cinemax for the okay Epix. Do you guys think they will eventually come back, or should I switch back to DirecTV?

Roofers came over to redo the pitch of the roof. I purposely had my mom's dish not installed in their way, but they took it down anyways. On top of that, they thought the other dish was abondoned, so they just cut the wires going to it. It however fed the receivers that the wife and I watch.
I called support, nobody available until the 29th and it would be $95 of which $45 would be waived.

It's been fun...
After 22 years and 7 months almost to the day, I have severed my relationship with Dish today.
I know the typical response by most readers of this type of announcement, especially from someone who has been dormant on this board for several years, is an angry "Don't let the door hit you on your way out!"
But let me explain.
Dish, it's not (all) you. It's me.
Dish's invitation to quit the relationship was small, but it was a catalyst for the rest.

Newbie questions
Ok I am a returning dish customer had last in 2010. What a difference in equipment 9 years makes.. now for the questions. I have a hopper and 4 Joey 3 receivers. All brand spanking new equipment. I have 2 rooms next to each other kitchen and living room. Living room is the hopper 1 Joey in the kitchen.. they are not synced up ther is about a second plus delay on the Joey it is pretty annoying if they are on the same station. 722 Component Video Question
I haven't messed with this in a while, and have apparently forgotten how to get this connection. I just got a new Samsung TV (2018 model), and ran the HDMI cord from the 722 to the TV and it works fine. This TV does not have a component video option, so I wanted to run TV2 to another TV that has component video. I hooked up the 5 total cords and ran them to that 2nd TV, but instead of getting TV2, I'm getting TV1 on that TV as well. Am I only able to run TV1 out via component video? I...

According to channel 103 it looks like we get the Encore package and Indieplex as a free preview this month:

It lists channel 340 there, which is actually Encore East and part of the Starz package but the only Encore channel in HD so hopefully we get Encore E in HD. Could be a mistake though or we might only be getting the SD version of Encore E in free preview.

Install Question - Hybrid LNBF with a Hopper 3 + Hopper 2
Here's what I currently have.....I have a Dish with the hybrid LNBF head. The line goes from the dish to a hybrid solo hub, and then I have the coax lines that come off the hybrid hub to my Hopper 3 and my two Joey's. I recently acquired a Hopper 2, which is where my question comes in.

Not sure if this is the right forum. First post here. But..... I want to make available Dish Network to my 5th wheel when we travel. Seems many, many ways to do this. Have Dish at home. When they changed us over to a Hopper with 2 Joey boxes for the other two TV locations, they left the two VIP 612 DVR boxes. Hopper, Joey, Wally combo?
So the RV is put up and the RV Wally won’t be used for a few months, BUT can I do this in my residency....
Go from the Dish antenna to a splitter. Run one splitter output to the Wally and the other output to the switch which runs the Hopper/Joey combo. I know I can’t run the Wally on the output of the Hopper/Joey switch, but can I BEFORE with the other splitter?

Removed Joey's, now no signal from DVR
I wanted to save $14 a month, so I removed two Joey's in bedrooms where no one was recording programs from the DVR hopper in the living room.. When I removed the coaxial cable from the back of the Joey and reconnected it to the bedroom tv's , I received no signal from the DVR hopper in the living room. How can I fix this so that we can watch Dish on the bedroom tv's without their Joey's?

Superjoey Ethernet requirement
I was watching a dish on-demand episode on my tv connected to my superjoey when, all of a sudden it halted with a message “cannot access the internet”. My hopper is connected. Do I need to wire an Ethernet cable from my WiFi switch to the superjoey? Will this cause an unintentional issue? Dish was setup by a Dish tech.

Phone Scammers Posing as Dish Reps
Just an FYI that I received a call from scammers wanting to provide 'upgrades' to the software on my H3's. The caller ID even showed Dish's phone number. I played along for a bit (like the 'Microsoft Support' scam) because it is entertaining and informative (will now let F&F who have Dish know in person).
They did ask for my PIN, and last 4 of SSN or CC on file (couldn't quite understand), at which point I gave them a bit of an earful ('shame' and 'mother' are good words to use) and...

OTA signal came back after Hopper 3 reboot. Why?
I was getting zero signal on OTA for some channels on the Hopper 3 until I rebooted. Now it is coming in fine.
I noticed this when the raw antenna feed was coming in fine on the TV antenna input.
Any ideas why this mattered? Now I'm thinking when I get signal drops, that it is lying.
