HOPPER SNAP
I'm definitely going to get this Hopper Snap when it becomes available, but:
My HWS has both USB ports occupied. The top port has my OTA tuner and the lower port is for a hub that powers my EHD's. Since I have a spare port on the hub, I tried plugging in the OTA USB tuner into it. It seems the OTA tuner needs to be plugged directly into the HWS because it didn't work going through the hub.
It is a powered USB hub.

SVU Season 21
Law & Order SVU season 21 is weird. I can’t archive it on my Hopper3, and the episodes seem to disappear after a while, even though there is plenty of disk space available. Has anyone else experienced this? Do we know why this is happening? I haven’t seen it happen on any other programming.

I did a chat today, probably my first mistake, to upgrade from a Hopper Duo to a Hopper 3. I bought a 4K OLED tv about 3 months ago then bought a 4K Roku. Repeat problem with no audio/video from hopper3 to HDTV
Long time hopper 3 & 3 joeys customer. Lately I have a problem restoring the audio and video feed (HDMI) from hopper 3 to attached HDTV (Sharp 1080P). Has historically worked fine, now every time I turn off TV and come back in two or three hours when I turn on the TV there is no video or audio. This problem has been going on for several months, but now seems worse than normal. If I reboot the hopper3 it restores picture and sound normally.

These random software updates are making me really MAD.
[Rant mode on]
Last night between 8PM and 10PM (CDT) my H3 was recording two or more programs all the time. However, Dish seemed focused on updating the H3 and flashed the update warning screen over and over. Missing the warning would have resulted in interrupted recordings of two or three programs.
If the programmers are committed to ignoring the requested update time (3AM) and updating whenever they please, would it be impossible to just lock out prime time? I understand complaining will...

Hopper 3 MultiView
I'm having problems using the "Multiview" option on Hopper 3 "Picture in Picture" feature … this has been an issue for at least 2 or 3 months ….
One of the 4 squares remains active--the other 3 become frozen … audio remains in-tact on all squares--and I can switch between the frozen squares and hear current audio on all of them … it happens regardless of DVR'd material, or fully live programming
When I exit the PiP option, I get a full screen of digital noise/pixilated graphics/multi-color...

I HATE Google Assistant
Really upset that the Google Assistant has replaced the former voice search. I searched for “Flipping Exes” and was offered directions to a business in Carmel Indiana, and got zero results for any tv shows.
So this “enhancement” now forces me to say “TV show” every time I search. I know it’s first world problems, but it worked great before and now it doesn’t.
There’s no way to disable it. At a minimum, they need to offer the option to only search for TV shows.

So, I'm leaving Dish after 20+ years...
My agreement ended and went from 67 to 98 dollars. I hit them up on Twitter to see what they could do. Offered me $10 a month if I did a 2 year.
Going to give YouTube TV a shot. It has my channels, my internet is fantastic, and no contract.
If they had just gotten it back to where it was, I would have stayed. Their loss.

What is the best customer service phone number?
Just got off the phone to a foreign speaking customer person that had never heard of TV Guardian on Dish. Was on the phone about 40 minutes. Many years ago SatelliteGuys shared a direct line that they knew what they were doing. Does anybody have a good number?

1316 MoCA error
I have a Hopper with Sling and 2 wireless Joeys connected. The Hopper is connected wirelessly to an ASUS RT-68u router. The ASUS is connected to my WOW internet ARRIS gateway by ethernet cable. The Dish WAP is connected to the Hopper via ethernet cable. Everything has a good signal strength and when I check in the diagnostics it states that MoCA is not used at all. So why am I getting the 1316 error. I have seen this error intermittently since I have had the hopper (April 2018) but two times...

I wonder why the episode numbers are so random on the program guide? Not expecting a solution - I just download an episode guide from elsewhere and watch series based on title, but it seems strange that the episode numbers on the program guide don't work.

Dish 322 connected to three tv's
I have a Dish 322 with tuner 1 connected to one tv and tuner 2 connected to two tv's. Tuner 1 is IR and tuner 2 is UHF. At this time I have to carry the UHF remote to each room. Can I set up a third remote?

722k reciever fan going bad
for the past 2 weeks been here noise on my 722k reciever thought might been hard drive. but today a message popped on my screen said it was overheating. i have nothing on top or on the sides and its in a open spot. well dish swamp it for another 722k if i get protection plan or will they force me to get the hopper?
